REGION 12 FALL MEETING
2023

The Region 12 Fall Meeting on September 20th, 2023. Was a major success. Our chapter was very involved on stage. One of the newest members of our chapter even did a backflip off the stage. Our Regional Officers Gracie, Lydia, Claire, and Leah all did amazing on stage as well.

REGIONAL OFFICER ELECTIONS

On January 17, 2024 Region 12 Officer Elections were held at the UCM Campus in Warrensburg, Mo. We came home with these positions; President, Vice-President, Historian, Parliamentarian, and Recreational Leader.

REGIONAL STAR EVENTS

On January 24, 2024, Region 12 STAR Event Competitions took place at the UCM Campus in Warrensburg, Mo. We took 2 groups to compete and both received gold and moving on to state.

LEGISLATIVE SHADOWING

Missouri State Legislative Shadowing will be was in Jefferson City, Missouri on February 27th and the 28th of 2024.

Our chapter president Gracie attended this conference and shadowed Jim Kalberloh. During her time there she learned so much about our Missouri government.

STATE LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

Missouri State Leadership Conference of 2024 was held on the 17th through the 19th of March of 2024. It was hosted at Tan-Tar-A, Osage Beach, Missouri.

Two groups from Osceola competed. They both placed top 5. Sam Jones and Lydia Jones competed in Sports Nutrition, level 3, they placed first with gold. Will Jones and Makaylee Wohlers competed in Sports Nutrition, level 1, they placed 3rd.

NATIONAL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

The National Leadership Conference 2024 will be held in Seattle, Washington. From June 29 to July 3, 2024.

There are several groups competing at NLC. Gracie Gannaway and Heavin Minor with FCCLA Chapter Website, level 3. Sam Jones and Lydia Jones with Sports Nutrition, level 3. Bailey Wheeler and Claire Salmon with Digital Stories for Change, level 2. Leah Crowder and Ashlyn Oyler with FCCLA Chapter Website, level 1. The last group is Logan Perry, Shaylee Wohlers, and Kiaya Smith with Instructional Video, level 1.
